PPA Tour rankings
How the PPA's points-based ranking system works, refresh cadence, and known limitations.
What we display
We surface the PPA Tour’s official points-based rankings across men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. We do not modify the PPA’s numbers — we mirror them with our own “as of” timestamp.
Refresh cadence
Our PPA adapter syncs every 30 minutes during tournament weekends and every two hours otherwise. The Updated badge on every ranking row shows the last successful sync.
Known limitations
- The PPA does not publish the exact formula they use to compute points; we do not invent one.
- If the PPA renames a player, our system reconciles via external IDs but a name change can briefly produce two rows for the same player. Operators correct this manually.
