Let
Used in older rules: a serve that hit the net but landed in the correct service court was replayed. USA Pickleball removed this rule — current play has no service let.
Last revised
Historically, a serve that clipped the net cord but still landed in the correct service court was replayed (a 'let'). USA Pickleball removed the let rule so net-cord serves are now in play if they land valid — same as in volleyball.
Most pro tours follow the no-let rule. A few rec leagues still play with lets; check before you serve.
