ATP
also called Around The Post, around-the-post
A shot that travels around the outside of the net post (instead of over the net). Legal — the rules don't require the ball to clear the net height.

An ATP (Around The Post) is a shot played from a wide angle that travels around the OUTSIDE of the net post rather than over the net itself. Pickleball rules permit this — there's no requirement that the ball cross the plane of the net at any minimum height.
ATPs require a sharp cross-court angle. They're most commonly executed off a wide dink that pulls a player off the sideline; the ATP rolls back at an even sharper angle.
